Leeds United are set to face a real battle in the race to sign Reading starlet Michael Olise in the January transfer window.

What’s the story?

Reports in recent weeks have suggested Marcelo Bielsa’s side are interested in landing the £7.2m-rated talent this month, but The Daily Mirror’s latest update on Olise’s future may have handed the Whites a major blow.

The report claims that fellow Premier League side Aston Villa are now also eyeing up a potential move for the 19-year-old, and that Dean Smith is keen to add more younger players to his first-team squad, and has been given the green light to make some major moves in the transfer market.

Radrizzani must cough up

Given Olise’s performances this season for the Royals, it’s no surprise to see plenty of clubs lining up to try and sign him. He’s bagged four goals and provided an impressive eight assists in just 24 games this campaign, and with his ability to play anywhere behind the striker, could give Bielsa another attacking weapon.

His teammate at Reading, Sam Baldock, said early last year: “Michael is a real talent, he’ll get on the ball in any situation. He’s fearless, if you ask him today I’ll guarantee that he had no nerves. He’s a lively character and one who I’ve noticed a real change in the last couple of months.”

Given his age, there’s real potential for Olise to go far, and nabbing him at a low price now would gift Leeds an incredible asset both in terms of what he could offer on the pitch, and how much he could sell for down the line.

Andrea Radrizzani must surely consider coughing up the money Reading want for him now, and making sure that Villa or any other club don’t swoop in under their noses. It would be a nightmare for the Whites if Olise turned into a superstar elsewhere and they look back on the moment they snubbed a move for him.

صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية، كشفت عن غضب تشافي وخيبة أمله من شكل الفريق، ولم يستطع إخفاء إحباطه، مثلما فعل في المؤتمر الصحفي.

وبعد الانتهاء من الشوط الأول ومع تأخر الفريق بهدفين، ذهب تشافي إلى غرفة خلع الملابس وقال للاعبين بصوت مرتفع: “بعضكم لا يفهم ماذا يعني اللعب لـ برشلونة، لا يشعر بذلك”.

ورغم ذلك، تلقى برشلونة هدفًا ثالثًا في الشوط الثاني، وخرج من دوري أبطال أوروبا، وظهر الفريق وكأنه مستسلم للنتيجة.

الصحيفة أشارت إلى أن تشافي تحدث مع اللاعبين بطريقة أقل اندفاعًا ولكن برسائل قصيرة قوية للجميع، وعاتبهم جميعًا، في الوقت الذي لم يتمكن أي لاعب من رفع صوته والرد على المدرب الشاب.

Luiz Adriano fez diversas vezes o papel de articulador – muito mais que Lucas Lima. Nos dois melhores momentos da equipe no período, foi dos pés do camisa 10 que a construção se deu. وأضاف: “الهدف الأول الذي دخل مرمانا كان سوء حظ وهدف غير ملعوب، أغلقنا على مفاتيح النادي الأهلي كلها في الشوط الأول وكان لا يوجد خطورة على مرمانا”.

وأردف: “كان أهم شىء بالنسبة لنا أن نسعد الجماهير ونخرج بمظهر وأداء مشرف، ويحسب لنا أننا لم نستسلم بعد التأخر بهدفين، وكنا أخطر على مرمى الأهلي في الشوط الثاني”.

وواصل: “نواجه فريق كبير مثل الأهلي ونحترمه ونقدره، ولا يوجد لدينا مشكلة أن (نخسر كورة)، ولكن حدث أكثر من موقف في المباراة، في كرة الهدف الثاني لاعب المحلة سقط واحتسبت رمية تماس والحكم لم يوقف اللعب ولم يعد للفار وتم استئناف اللعب والأهلي سجل هدف”.

وأردف: “لاعبو الأهلي واصلوا اللعب ولم يوقفوه ونفس الموقف حدث عندما كنا متأخرين في النتيجة، في المقابل عمرو السولية سقط في منتصف ملعبه وأخرجنا الكرة من الملعب، نتمنى أن يكون هناك حيادية وليس انحياز”.

وواصل: “لاعبو الأهلي كانوا يتلقون العلاج في الملعب، ولا يعترض أحد ولكن إذا سقط لاعب من المحلة نجد طوفان حوله ويطلبون منه الخروج من الملعب، لا يوجد لدينا مشكلة مع أي أحد، ولكن نطلب الحيادية في المنظومة”.

واختتم: “معلق المباراة مجد في لاعبي الأهلي بعد تسجيلهم الهدف الثاني، ونحن سجلنا الهدف الثاني بمهارة عالية وكأنه لم ير شيئًا، ونريد أن نحصل على حقنا”.

يذكر أن المحلة قد سجل هدفه الثاني بأقدام مدافع الأهلي أكرم توفيق عن طريق الخطأ.

-O Leandro está muito triste, sabe que falhou. Jogamos dois anos juntos no Coritiba e eu acho o Leandro um dos jogadores mais técnicos no Brasil. Falta um pouco de confiança para ele. A torcida no primeiro jogo não gritou o nome dele, isso dificulta um pouco. Ele vinha bem, e acabou acontecendo aquela falha e todos esculacham o jogador. Não é por esse lado. Mohammad Ashraful has been recalled to the Bangladesh squad for the two Tests against Pakistan starting later this week. Ashraful, who did not play the ODIs against Pakistan, is one of four changes to the Test squad that played West Indies in October and November.The vice-captain Mahmudullah, medium-pacer Robiul Islam and batsman Nazimuddin were the other inclusions in the 15-man group, in place of opener Imrul Kayes and middle-order batsmen Raqibul Hasan and Shuvagata Hom.Ashraful had been out of the Bangladesh squad since being dropped for the Tests against West Indies, after which the coach Stuart Law had said that he needed to perform to play international cricket. Since then he played five National Cricket League matches for Dhaka Metropolis and scored three half-centuries and one hundred.Mahmudullah’s return to the squad was more straightforward. He had missed the West Indies Tests because of dengue fever and recovered in time to play the ODIs against Pakistan.Law had said that Robiul had missed out on the Tests against West Indies because Bangladesh were unlikely to play three medium-pacers. Presidente do Vasco, Alexandre Campello visitou a sede do Grupamento Especial de Policiamento em Estádios (Gepe), em Deodoro, Zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro. Na oportunidade, o mandatário do Cruz-Maltino conversou com o Major Silvio Luiz, desde 2015 à frente da unidade. Ele solicitou a colaboração no que for possível para que as torcidas organizadas possam comparecer aos jogos novamente com faixas, bandeiras e instrumentos musicais.

Segundo nota divulgada pelo Vasco, durante o encontro, o Major Silvio Luiz destacou que Alexandre Campello foi o primeiro presidente de um clube do Rio de Janeiro a visitar pessoalmente o Gepe. Ele ainda ratificou o total apoio do Grupamento Especial para que os jogos em São Januário transcorram em paz. Vale lembrar que Campello, em junho, recebeu em São Januário líderes de torcidas organizadas vascaínas, estabalecendo uma regra de governança mais clara entre as partes.

Ainda de acordo com a nota, em acordo com o Estatuto do Torcedor, o Vasco já se comprometeu a auxiliar as torcidas organizadas na organização de um cadastro atualizado de seus membros. O clube informou ainda que também estuda a adequação de uma categoria de sócios específica para membros de torcidas organizadas, ressaltando que não haverá distribuição de ingressos para os mesmos.

– Estamos muito satisfeitos em estreitar o relacionamento do Vasco com o Gepe. É importante que o torcedor vascaíno, seja ele de organizada ou não, tenha tranquilidade para ir ao estádio e fazer festa. O jogo ganha um outro clima com bandeiras, faixas e instrumentos musicais, especialmente em São Januário, nosso caldeirão. Agradeço ao Major Silvio Luiz pela excelente receptividade. Se faltou mais efetividade em criar perigo nos 45 minutos iniciais, parece que os times entenderam bem o problema e voltaram muito mais capazes de fazer Kozlinski e Victor Souza. Principalmente, por parte do Atlético-GO. Até os 25 minutos, Léo exigiu uma defesa maravilhosa do arqueiro goiano enquanto Aylon, Nicolas, Mike e Matheuzinho levaram perigo ao time de Mato Grosso onde até mesmo o travessão ficou “balançando” em chute de primeira.

E, mediante tantas oportunidades não aproveitadas de ampliar o triunfo, o time da casa acabou pagando um alto preço.

Com 35 minutos, o meio-campista André Castro se chocou dentro da área com com o zagueiro Anderson Conceição e a arbitragem marcou pênalti. Na batida, Paulinho foi preciso e igualou as coisas em Goiânia.

Movimentação nos últimos minutos que refletia a busca pelo tento da vitória definitivamente não faltou. Todavia, a bola não mais balançou as redes e o marcador terminou igual.
